Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on ac-schnitzer.de. It supplements our Privacy Policy, where you will find further information on the providers, legal bases, third-country transfers and your rights. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
- Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website and are read again on later visits. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and scripts that read information from your device.
- In this policy, we use the term "cookies" for all of these technologies.
- We distinguish between first-party cookies set by us and third-party cookies set by other providers whose services we integrate.
2. Legal basis
- Under Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), storing information on your device or accessing information stored there is only permitted with your consent.
- Without consent, we only use cookies that are strictly necessary under Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG to provide the website and functions you have expressly requested.
- Where personal data is processed by means of cookies, the legal basis for strictly necessary cookies is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website) and for all other cookies your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
3. Categories
- Strictly necessary: these cookies are required to operate the website, for example for security, load balancing and storing your cookie settings. They cannot be deselected.
- External media: this category covers embedded third-party content, in particular YouTube videos. It is only loaded after you consent.
- Analytics: these cookies help us understand how visitors use our website so that we can improve its content and structure (Google Analytics 4).
- Marketing: these cookies are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, build audiences and show you relevant advertising on other platforms (Meta Pixel, Google advertising services, Klaviyo onsite tracking).
