Instead of boosting power and torque with chip tuning, the tuning professionals at AC Schnitzer have concentrated on optimising the driving dynamics of the MINI F56 John Cooper Works GP. The heart of the AC Schnitzer portfolio for the JCW GP is the continuously adjustable RS Clubsport suspension. It can be adjusted in rebound and compression, improves agility and allows a lowering of 30 to 40 mm – for better cornering and more driving pleasure. A front splitter and weight-optimised light-alloy wheels in black or BiColor, with optional rim locks, also add to the sporty look. Inside, an aluminium cover for the iDrive Touch Control provides a touch of elegance.

Most AC Schnitzer parts are approved for road use. Depending on the part this is an EC type approval, a parts certificate or an expert opinion. With an EC type approval or an expert opinion no further inspection is needed. With a parts certificate, an official testing body checks the part after fitting and enters it in the vehicle documents, as required in Germany and some other countries. Homologated parts are supplied with the matching document.
