The performance upgrade raises system output from 489 to 551 hp and adds 100 Nm of torque, to 800 Nm. In the test the car reached 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and 200 km/h in 14.0 seconds.
Visually the car gets a front splitter, side skirts, roof spoiler and rear spoiler lip, plus 21 inch AC3 wheels and a spring kit for a lower stance. The adaptive suspension stays fully active. Inside, aluminium pedals complete the package.
The testers found the comfort close to a 7 Series and the handling as agile as a 3 Series, with a neutral balance even at full power. On their mixed test loop it used 5.6 litres of Super Plus and 11.2 kWh per 100 km.
